Show your child you are interested. Talk to your child about Pre-School, enjoy his/her stories, praise artwork and display it at home. Repeating what they have done at Pre-School is positive confirmation and enables learning.
Make sure your child is dressed appropriately in clothes that can survive paint, glue, water, etc. and soft shoes that will be safe on the climbing frame, and has the right clothes for outdoor play in all weathers!
Be a rota helper. This involves spending sometime helping out and is usually great fun for you and your child. Typical jobs that rota helpers can get involved with are: preparing for snack time and washing-up afterwards, reading, preparing craft activities and general tidy-up activities.
Fund-raising. In order to supply new equipment and materials we regularly hold fund-raising events. Some involve the children, some have a social element and all are important - please support them.
JoinourCommittee. This can be an interesting and valuable experience, and is vital to the running of Pre-School. If you'd like to know more please speak to any of our staff or the committee.
